Luke 2:24-26

²⁴ and to offer a sacrifice according to what has been stated in the Law of the Lord: “^(A)A pair of turtledoves or two young doves.”

²⁵ And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was ^(B)righteous and devout, ^(C)looking forward to the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. ²⁶ And ^(D)it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not ^(E)see death before he had seen the Lord’s ^[a]Christ.
